New members.

This past weekend the Fried family became official members of the Red River Valley Zoo. We priced it out and it turns out if we go to the zoo at least 2 times in the next year it will pay for itself. Plus, we get free admission to the Minot and Duluth zoos and 1/2 off the Minnesota Zoo. Not a bad deal.

Adam loves the animals at the zoo. He was running all over wanting to see more and more "baby animals" as he calls them. Every animal at the zoo is a baby animal to Adam. He really liked the petting zoo where he could get up close and personal with the goats and cows. He got a little to close to one of the goats and managed to step in a pile of its poop with his brand new shoes. Fun!

" Hey Daddy look at the baby animals!"
"Wow, more baby animals!"

Starting early.

Adam's "Funcle" Aaron is very excited about the warmer weather, because he can now take out the motorcycle. Adam was very very excited when Aaron came over last night on the bike. He especially liked the "Vroom Vroom" and the "Beep Beep." Aaron was giving Adam his first lesson, and ,of course, had to document it for you all to see.
This is how to make the motorcycle go "Vroom, Vroom."

Spring has sprung!

Well the weather has finally decided to stay nice for a few days and we have taken full advantage of it. I love having a back yard and so do the boys. We have spent every afternoon running around and getting things ready for summer. Adam loves to run and the first thing he wants to do when we get home is go back outside. This had been an awesome outlet for our very busy toddler as evidence by the pictures below!

Easter weekend.

I just want to start with a little FYI for all of you. If it ever happens that you forget to check the pockets of your jeans and you inadvertently wash and dry a new pack of gum, wet dryer sheets will clean that melted gum right out your dryer!

We had a very busy Easter weekend. We had all the grandparents in town, and we also celebrated Aaron's 30th birthday. Adam learned all about the Easter story. His favorite part was when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the donkey.

The weather was beautiful over the weekend and it was nice to be able to spend a lot of time outdoors. Adam loves to run and there is much more room for him to do so outside. Adam was able to hunt for Easter eggs that the very generous bunny had left for him. He made out with candy and other very nice gift. Here are a bunch of pictures from our very busy weekend.
