Fussy Day

Adam has had a pretty fussy day today. If he isn't eating he is crying. I can't really complain because on fussy day when he is good every other is not that bad, plus Ryan is here to help out. Adam got a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Childs this weekend. On Saturday night, Ryan and I were spoiled when they watched Adam for us so we could enjoy dinner with friends. It was a pretty lazy weekend. We just sat around mainly and watched Adam make all of his cute faces. He is smiling a lot more now and he is starting to make some very cute cooing sounds. And of course I have some more pictures.

Five weeks old

A lot has changed in these last five weeks. Adam has gained over a pound weighing in at 8lb 13oz and had grown 2 1/2 inches. We traveled to Minot this last weekend so Adam could meet his great grandma Iona. He traveled really well, but he did get a little fussy at night time. It was a really good weekend spending time with the family. Here are some new pics from the weekend.
Adam had his first play date with Nathan born just two hour apart.

FIRST FOOTBALL WEEKEND!!!!!

Despite being diagnosed as being colicky, we had a pretty good weekend. Adam has pretty much slept through the night the last few days. He's been getting to bed around 10:00 P.M. and sleeping until almost 6:00 A.M. much to the delight of his mother. Cathy came to town for a couple days last week to help relieve a stressed out mother. She even gave us an opportunity to get away for a little bit and go out for a drink. Even though we are predominantly breast feeding, we have started to supplement a little with formula to give Robin a much needed break from a baby who would eat constantly if allowed. We took Adam to his first Bison game yesterday and he is enjoying a day with friends and football today. He also attended his first church service today and was a big hit.

Happy Camper

We have had a busy weekend with Adam. On Friday, we had some friends over for dinner and Guitar Hero Rock the 80's. Ryan and the boys had the game almost completed by the end of the night. Yesterday we went on a little Labor day outing to Devil's Lake to see grandma and grandpa Fried. Adam did pretty well on the trip. He only fussed when he got to hot or when those nasty bugs crawled on him. All the fresh air wore us all out so mommy and daddy were able to get some good sleep last night. Today we took it pretty easy. Adam was having a fun morning which made for some fun picture opportunities.
