Birthday Wishes Part 2
As promised I have more pictures from our visit to Duluth last weekend. On Sunday before we left town. Great Uncle Dave made us a wonderful breakfast at Granny and Papa's. We all had fun playing with Adam. It was fun to see him light up for everyone especially his Great Granny! Enjoy!

Spring is in the air
Last night I bought us a brand new Burley Cart. For those who are unfamiliar, this is a trailer to pull children behind your bike. I decided to buy it sooner rather than later because my inside sources told me that they only had a few of the previous year's models left at Island Park Cycles, and the newer model jumped up in price considerably. I also purchased a new bike a while back, but this is still on layaway until the weather gets warm enough to get outside and use it (no sense taking up our garage space). I'm getting spring fever, now that the cold is mostly over (hopefully). The opening of baseball season is only about a month away with spring training coming sooner than that. I just can't wait!!!

Birthday Wishes Part 1
We have so many fun pictures and videos from our trip back to Duluth this weekend that I am going to have to put them up in multiple posts. It was papa's 80th birthday on Sunday so on Saturday night we went out to the Dreamland supper club with the whole family for a wonderful meal and then back to my parents place for birthday pie. Did I mention that my mom makes the best pies in the world! Here are some fun pics from the birthday dinner.

Good reports!
Well, Adam had his 6 month check up today. He weighed in at 19 lb 9 oz and was 28 inches long, that is huge compared to the 7 lb 10 oz , 19 1/2 inches he was at birth. The doctor checked him all out and said that he was pretty perfect (which we already knew of course). Adam is hitting all of the appropriate milestones that babies his age should be hitting. She even said that he was sitting up much better than most 6 month olds. (Ok now I'm just bragging!) Adam is looking forward to his trip to Duluth this next weekend for his Great Papa's 80th birthday! And of course what everyone wants is more pictures of Adam.

All dressed up for Sunday church!
Yummy rubber scraper.
Nice kitty.
Hey, give me that thing. I want to put it in my mouth.

My Funny Valentine
My valentine is 6 months old today! He is 11 pounds heavier, about 6 inches longer and about a million times cuter! Here are some pictures to show you just how much he has changed.
Here is Adam just 3 days old.

And finally, just to do a little bragging, my wonderful husband (and son) sent me two dozen beautiful roses to me at work for Valentine's Day. I am the luckiest!

Finally!
Well, he finally did it. Adam has officially rolled over by himself. Unfortunatly, nobody was able to witness it. Yesterday, when Ryan picked Adam up from day care they told him that they had laid him on the floor on his back. The daycare ladies were busy changing diapers and feeding some of the babies when they heard an uncharacteritic cry from Adam. Apparently, he had rolled from his back to his tummy and he wasn't to pleased with the outcome. It was probably a combination of fear and not wanting to be on his tummy. Of course, when we tried to get him to roll over at home he would have none of it. I was actually getting a little worried that he wasn't rolling over yet but in the words of my husband "How many adults do you know that can't roll over?"
