Oh Christmas Tree!

Last night we put up Adam's first Christmas tree. It was quite cold and snowy outside, so it was a perfect night to get the house ready for Christmas. I was reluctant to put up a tree this year, because last year Tad learned how to climb the tree which resulted in a few broken ornaments. Ryan talked me into putting up a smaller tree, so hopefully this year Tad will stay away. Not likely.

Adam with his new Baby's First Christmas ducky ornament. I even dressed him up all festive for the occasion.

Adam had fun staring at the lights and sparkling ornaments, but he did tucker out before the tree was finished. I think Ryan and I did a good job finishing it without his help.

Why does mom alway put that flashing thing in my face?

Fun new toy!

Weekend at the Frieds

This last weekend we spent with Ryan's parents in Minot. Ryan's aunt Cheri and uncle Terry were there visiting for the holiday as well. We had a relaxing time with the family. Adam was, of course, a huge hit. We had, at one time, seven adults sitting around just staring at him as he entertained himself in his bouncer. I am having trouble posting the video I got of him this weekend but I will try again soon.

Super Adam!

Grandma gave Adam a candy cane. He was sure quick to put that in his mouth. The wrapping was still on, no candy for Adam yet.

What I'm Thankful For!

Since I had to work on Thanksgiving we spent it here in Fargo at Joel and Erika's apartment. We had lots of good food and got to spend time with friends. Ryan and I missed our families on this holiday, but will see you all very soon. Here are some pictures of just some of the people I'm thankful for.

Talking to Mom.

Since it has been so long since our last post, I will be posting a lot of pictures for you in the next couple days. There has been lots going on so I have many, many cute new pictures of Adam. (I hope that makes up for our absence.) I hope you enjoy the video of Adam talking to mom!

I almost forgot...

Because Erika felt it necessary to put such a "beautiful" picture of me on her website, I felt it only fitting that I do the same for her. This picture was taken when we were in Scotland together. (I did have to crop myself out of the picture so as to not steal her thunder.) By the way, congrats to Erika on her new job and her new house!

Story Time

It was story time for Adam and he was being so cute I couldn't resist taking out the camera. Enjoy!

I love story time with Daddy!

The giraffes are my favorite!

This book doesn't taste very good.

Happy three months to A.J.

My how time flies. It's already been three months. This little tyke feels like he's always been a part of our family. It's hard to believe that last year at this time we had no idea that we'd be blessed with such a wonderful child so quickly.
Last weekend the three of us went back to Minot to do some hunting. We got all but two of our deer by Saturday and had one more tagged on Sunday. I'm not sure if they've got the final deer yet or not. I do know, however, that they decided to put a rush on processing the deer because of the unseasonably warm weather that they've had this week in Minot. Robin had fun at home with a house full of friends and relatives while the men were out shooting things.

Feeling better.

Adam is feeling much better than he did last week. By the time the weekend rolled around he was back to his fun, smiley self. Grandma Childs came to visit this weekend. This was a big help because I had to work midnights this weekend and mom was able to take care of Adam while I slept. Sunday was just a lazy day of watching football and catching up on sleep. Ryan was happy because his Packers are now 7-1 and I am sad because my Colts lost so they are now 7-1. We watched the Colts vs. Patriots game up at Aaron and I had to post some pictures of Aaron actually holding a baby. He says he can now that Adam can support himself better. :) Enjoy!
