Happy Anniversary to us!!!

It's been two long years since we tied the knot.
Two new jobs,

twenty-two [actually 32 :)] new pounds, two months from a new baby boy,

and two shots of Jag. We are still going strong.

Sorry that it has been so long since we have updated. Unfortunatly, things have been pretty boring and uneventful for us. Ryan has started up golf lessons. I don't know if they are helping any but it keeps him busy and away from World of Warcraft. Ryan was down in the cities this weekend for Aaron's bachelor party. We will be traveling down to Worthington, MN next weekend for his and Tanya's wedding. I made a trip to Duluth for a visit while Ryan was out with the boys. I had a wonderful time catching up with mom and granny and everyone. Well, I would love to stay and blog some more, but I have an anniversary to celebrate. Hope everyone reading is doing well.

A nice Mother's Day weekend

To all the mothers out there, a belated happy Mother's Day. Ryan and I made a trip to Minot this weekend for Mother's Day. It was a pretty relaxing weekend. We did a little eating, shopping and more eating. Ryan's grandmother Iona came over for supper on Saturday and we all went out from a Mother's Day lunch buffet on Sunday. It was nice to get out of town and see the family. I had my 28 week check up this afternoon. For those of you keeping track, that means only about 12 more weeks to go! Everything is still looking good. We heard the heartbeat which is always a reassuring sound, and I am continuing to grow and gain weight right on course. Not much else is new. I promise that we will update again soon. :)

Finally...

Well, it took a little time, but after approximately 7 weeks, we got our crib and changer combo/hutch. I took some time off of WoW to assemble all the pieces. I was supposed to have some help lined up to move the furniture upstairs, but that fell through. It wasn't that bad, though, except for the changer combo. That piece was one heavy S.O.B. Anyways, here's what our finished (currently...) nursery looks like.

At long last...

We had a nice weekend with rain and wind and typical North Dakota weather. Friday night I went to go see Spiderman 3 which I enjoyed, even if parts were a little to cheesy even for me. The effects for the Sandman I thought were incredible. I got to play a little more WoW and got my Warrior up to level 36. I even had time to start a Blood Elf paladin. Robin is, oh, so proud of me :) Robin and I got to go on a date to Outback Steakhouse on Saturday. I had an excellent tilapia which was covered with some kind of spicy sauce and shellfish. Robin had her red meat steak with extra shrimp, of course. Saturday morning Robin got to go to a breastfeeding class through MeritCare and is now a breastfeeding expert. We went to church, as always, this morning with our weekly after church visit to Cashwise Video. I finally got to Rocky Balboa after watching one Rocky movie per week for the past 5 weeks. I was actually enjoying Rocky V despite how bad I've heard it is up until the ending. This afternoon we went and looked at a couple of houses for the Parade of Homes to try and get some ideas for the future. Robin has finished her baby blanket and has started another one for some friends of ours who are expecting a baby a few months after us. She's a knitting machine. I ordered a baby outfit for our boy so next football season he can cheer for the green and Favre with his dad. Here's a picture of the blanket and his favorite outfit. Oh yeah, here's another picture of Robin, too.
