To make up for my long absence...

Full time job, full time school, full time mom. Not that this is any excuse for not updating but that is the one I am using. I have been juggling a lot these last few weeks and I give Ryan tons of credit for making things so easy on me. I am so lucky. Anyway, Friday night we took Adam to the Redhawks. It was a beautiful night and all the fresh air tuckered our little guy out, but he still managed to charm everyone sitting around us. On Saturday I got to go out for a little girl fun for my friend Kelsey's bachelorette party. I can't wait for her wedding she is going to be a gorgeous bride. Sunday we spent as much time outside as possible we went for a family bike ride and long walk to the park. Since it has been awhile for posting I have put up not one but two new videos. The first one is of Adam in his new froggy swimming pool and the next is him showing off his drumming talent. Enjoy!

Father's Day Weekend.

Well, we have been keeping busy here in Fargo. Adam is a monster. He is crawling everywhere and getting into everything. If it is on the coffee table, couch or shelf it is now on my floor. I just can't be mad though because he is so darn cute when he's crawling around shaking that big diaper butt. Wow am I a mom. We were going to go camping this weekend but the thunder storms and tornado warning kept us home. Instead, we went to Erika and Joel's for supper, and on father's day we just took it easy. I apologize for the lack of pictures. I was getting errors when I was trying to load them. One made it through. Here is Adam and Tad all excited to see daddy!

Sand-tastic

Adam got a quick visit from Grandma and Grandpa Fried this weekend. They were helping Kristen move in Grand Forks so they thought they would pop down to see the little man. Tara, Matt and Bergen also stopped by on Friday for supper, unfortunately Ryan's fun evening got cut short when he had to pick me up from work and take me to the doctor. I have not be feeling hot this weekend. Grandma and Grandpa did not leave, of course, without spoiling Adam a little. Along with a new Spiderman ball, he got a new sandbox as an early birthday present. Here are some pictures of video of Adam enjoying his new toy!!

Just a note the video is about 5 long. He just kept making cute faces. Plus, there is some extra footage of him crawling as well.

Weekend in the cities.

We crammed in a lot of stuff in a short amount of time this weekend. We left for Minneapolis on Saturday morning we picked Erika up to take along after talking her into it at 9:00 pm the night before. We first met up with Eric, Denise and Evan Schmidt for a afternoon on the lake. Adam got to take his first boat ride. He did OK, but he really didn't like his life jacket. We went out to an island so the boys could play on the swings and so we could grill out. We had a great time, and had beautiful weather. After quickly checking into hotel we ran to the game and made just in time to see the second pitch (we were a little late). The Twins lost to the Yankees after putting in a good 13 inning effort. Adam was wired the entire time. He just wouldn't settle down with all the excitement going on around him. He crashed hard on the ride back to the hotel.
Sunday was another beautiful day. We all went to the Como Zoo for the morning. We all had a great time looking at the animals, rides and Adam and I got to take a fun carousel ride. On the way out of town, we had to stop to pick up more formula for Adam because I, like a dummy, forgot to pack enough. We stopped at a local Cub foods and I looked all over for the formula. Guess where I found it, behind the counter in a case next to the cigarettes, so after asking the lady to get me a can (she didn't even check my ID) we hit the road for home. We did make a short stop in Albertville for some quick shopping. When we finally got home, Adam was very excited to be free from the car seat. We chased him around for about two hours before he wore himself out enough to go to sleep. He slept hard and today was fully recovered from the full weekend.
A rare smile from Adam in his life jacket.

Rikki, Meeks and I. It was totally not planned that we would all be at this game this weekend.

The famous butts of A Rod and Derek Jeter

Even A Rod can't keep his hands off

If I were an animal I would definatly be a giraffe.

All pooped out from the busy weekend.
