Since Ryan was laid up this weekend with strep throat (don't worry he is recovering nicely) Adam and I decided to head off to Duluth without him. Trips to Duluth are always nice. There was no set plans, just relax and have fun. Saturday we spent time at the boat show. They have a little bit of everything there including dancing bears, large turtles and Mary Kay. Oh yeah, and boats. :) That evening, everyone got a chance to just hang out, eat Sammy's pizza and play a fun (yet heated) game of Monopoly. Mom wound up showing all us kids including Granny how its done and bankrupted us all.
On Sunday afternoon, I thought it might be fun to take Adam to the aquarium. He had a blast seeing all the big fish and playing with the boats. I actually remembered the camera, so here are some pictures from that day.
Adam holding his map, all ready to go explore!

What have we got here.

Adam thought the turtles were the best.

Big Grandpa helping Adam get a better view.

There had a tree house slide for the kids.

Practicing up for this summer.

Adam measured up to the same size as a Chinook Salmon

Adam had a lot of fun at the great lakes exibit.

Kids can take little boats through all the great lakes and see how the locks work.

He was pretty wet after all that playing.
