We are continuing on with our busy summer here in Omaha. A couple weeks ago, we decided to try out camping with Adam for the first time. It started out well, but after a big wind storm took down our tent we decided to pack it up and try again another time. We still managed to get in some of the camping essentials.

Our big guy turned 5 on August 14th and it feels like we have been celebrating all week. On his birthday, Adam got to bring cupcakes for his whole class. He was very excited to be part of the whole baking process.
I think this was the part he liked the best.

On Adam's birthday night there was even more cake, and Little Grandma and Grandpa were able to make it for the festivities.

On Saturday, we had a bowling party for Adam and some of his friends from school.

Today we decided to hit the splash park for a nice picnic and some fun in the water!
