New Video!

Our little guy is already 18 monthes old! He is growing like a weed. Clothes that were to big for him just a couple of weeks ago are now almost to small. Here is some fun new video of Adam up to some fun new tricks. I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day.

Dinoland

We took Adam to the dinosaur playland at the mall today. He had a great time running around, blowing off some energy. He was so tired after all the playing he took a 2 1/2 hour nap this afternoon. I think we will have to take him there more often. Here is some fun pictures of Adam running around.

Happy Birthday Ryan!

My hubby is 30 years old today! We are actually are having a pretty low key night tonight, Ryan had to work pretty late. Don't feel bad for him, he got is big birthday bash this Sunday during the Superbowl. We rented the big dog suite at the HoDo and had friends and family there to celebrate with Ryan and eat a lot of food and watch a great game. Thank you to my mom and Ryan's parents for helping with all the food and for watching Adam. It was a great weekend!

I can't believe it took me so long...

I can't believe it took me so long to say a big congratulations to Dan and Liz on their engagement. My big brother is getting married!! I hope they know how lucky they are to have each other (especially Dan) :)

On a sadder note, as many of you know we have been needing to give away our cat for awhile now. Well on Tuesday I finally put up an ad online. A half hour after I posted the ad I got a phone call and within three hours of posting the ad Tad was gone to a new home. It all happened so fast! It has been very weird around here without him. He had been part of our family for three years and we will miss him. He had quite the personality. I hope he brings a lot of joy to his new family.

Fun with bath crayons

Adam was having a good time with his bath crayons tonight in the tub.

He is quite the artist.

I like to think he was trying to write this!

Even Ryan had a little fun with the crayons. (Isn't he cute!)

Brrrrrrrrrrr

It is cold! I actually don't really mind the cold. It allows me to wear my favorite fleece pants and sweatshirt with out being to hot. What I don't like about the cold is the 20 minute routine of putting Adam's hat one which he will promptly rips off while I am trying to wrestle him into his coat. Sometimes when he is very stubborn about not wanting to be in his coat he will go completely limp and lie on the floor with a big smile that says go ahead and try to get that coat on me. Once I do get him in his coat, hat and mittens, I attempt to get my winter gear on all why chasing him away from whatever it is he want to get into and make a mess of before we leave the house. When we do leave, I hold onto to him, and my purse (sometimes more if I decide to pack a lunch or have to bring diapers to daycare) and I try to lock the door all while he is screaming "NO!" (his new favorite word) and trying to take his hat and mittens off while simultaneously trying to take the keys out of my hand because he thinks he can do it better himself. It is all very awkward and is made even more so with the added bulk of the winter coats. After successfully locking the house, I trudge to the garage which isn't that far away but in this cold seems like miles. This entire time I am still trying to keep the hat on my son's head (the mittens have been lost almost a quickly as they had been put on). Once the car and garage are unlocked (see previous scenario involving keys) it is now time to wrestle Adam into the car seat. The bulk of his winter coat make his arms impossible to bend so it is quite the process for that as well. All this for the short 5 minute drive to daycare where he is much more cooperative because I am now taking his coat off. So anyway that is why I dislike the cold.

What does warm me up at this time are pictures like this of my big guy and little guy. You have got to love the matching father and son outfits.

Happy New Year!

First off, a big congratulations to Josh and Shyla Thompson on the birth of their baby girl Leah Lynn. She was born this morning and mom and baby are doing wonderful.

We rang in the new year pretty quiet around here. We went over and hung out with some friends playing games and watching TV. We just barely made it to midnight. We were all pretty tired. Wow do I hang with wild crowd.

Adam is still a word machine. He is talking a mile a minute. Most of the time only he knows what he is saying. Ryan is very excited about this new "toy". We bought a new plasma flat screen TV with Christmas money. That means playoff football in high def! He is pretty pumped, but not very useful since it has been set up.

Hi-eeeeeeee
What is wrong with this picture?
