Packed weekend

We had a packed weekend. Friday night we took in the Redhawks season opener. Adam sat through the entire game like a champ. He even stayed up until the end to watch the fireworks, even though the loud fireworks scared him a little. Here is a picture with daddy in the stands.

We have been very active with potty training Adam, and he has been doing really well. Here he is taking care of his morning business. Yes, I know he will kill me for posting this picture some day!
On Saturday, we went cheer on Erika as she ran the Fargo half marathon. She finished strong and we are all so proud of her for achieving this goal! Here are Aaron, Ryan and baby Claire waiting at the finish line for Rikki!

Our champion with her number one fan! We were also able fit in some yard projects this weekend. I caved, and finally let Ryan buy Adam a swing set (with a little help from grandparents). He has been working hard to get it set up. Adam also likes to get in on the action.

We also did some work in the gardens and got a couple new bushes planted.

Having never really gardened before, I realized what hard work it can be. But it is also very worth it when it turns out nice.
Adam took a few tumbles while outside this weekend, so now he looks even more like a little boy with his cut up knees!
