Ryan, Adam and I were able to dig out from the blizzards this weekend and make it to Minot to Celebrate with Ryan's father Warren. After many long years, Warren was finally able to retire. He worked at the Minot Air Force Base as the Project Management Chief and they put on a really nice program in honor of him. We are very excited for both he and Sonya as they now get to relax together and enjoy life with no work. Hopefully we will get to see them more often when they are not escaping the cold in Florida or catching with wind on their sailboat!
As a retirement gift Ryan and I had a wood carving made of Lake Sakakawea where Warren and Sonya spend most of their summers.
The carving was very detailed. Here is Ryan and Warren identifying some of their favorite spots on the lake.
