Success

We had Adam's ear surgery this morning. It was originally scheduled for Monday, but after getting Adam all ready to go to the OR, we all found out the doctor was out for the day. So we rescheduled, and it was completed today. The doctor met with us after the surgery and said everything went as expected and there were no surprises. We need to keep cotton in his ears for two days and keep them completely dry for a week. He was pretty tired after surgery, but as the afternoon went on, he started becoming his good ole (young?) self. The staff at Sanford were good, however we were pretty disappointed with the whole experience. It was frustrating to show up Monday for the surgery and find out at the last minute that the doctor wasn't around. Also today they asked us if we wanted to fill our prescription at the hospital which we agreed to. After two hours we finally asked what was going on and after waiting about another 30 minutes it was ready. Had we known it would take this long, we would have filled it somewhere else instead of waiting at the hospital. Enough complaining, the important thing is that our son's surgery is done, and his ears should be back to normal in a month. Here's some pictures of the brave little man.
